Angus Robertson is Stantec’s Buildings Regional Director in the Middle East and North Africa. He is a chartered landscape architect and urban designer with more than 32 years of professional experience. He has specialized in sustainable urban design, master planning and landscape architecture projects. His focus has been on design and project management on a variety of new cities, communities and developments including commercial, retail, urban regeneration, healthcare, education, theme parks, and hotels and resorts.

Angus is the advocate for the region’s design excellence—looking at ways to achieve innovative and contextual design solutions for our clients while contributing toward its global vision of becoming an iconic design practice.

Angus’ key projects include Al Jurf and Makers District in Abu Dhabi, Malaaz Resort Community and Allegria Community in Egypt, Le Sifa Resort in Oman, the Yankee Stadium in New York and Disneyland Paris.

Angus has made his mark by winning awards, participating and presenting in industry conferences, and mentoring new master planners, urban designers and landscape architects over the years. His portfolio of projects is spread out globally including USA, UK, France, Cyprus, Korea, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Libya, KSA, Oman and the UAE.
