Dan works in a consultative capacity with all the practice’s sectors, adding value to projects with his highly tuned and creative design skills, combined with a sophisticated approach to the incorporation of innovative materials and technical solutions. He works across the London office’s projects in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He also brings a lifelong passion and engagement with voluntary work to the firm’s CitizenHKS initiative, a cross-sector studio dedicated to offering design services to not-for-profit organisations. He recently completed a new maternity unit in rural Uganda that is already delivering results in reducing maternal and neonatal mortality.
He is also a key part of the team that curates and stages exhibitions and events in the gallery space at HKS’s new London studio, aimed at stimulating creative debate and collaboration.
