Phillip Jones joined B+H in 2011 and has more than 27 years of experience managing international, complex and large-scale projects. He has worked extensively in the Middle East and North Africa for over 25 years, where he honed his ability to successfully partner with global clients on challenging projects and drive business development. Prior to joining B+H, Phillip practiced with other major firms and worked on such notable projects as the Doha City Centre Expansion, as well as the Dubai Marina Community Master Plan and Flagship Six Tower Mixed Use Development (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (Jeddah Kingdom, Saudi Arabia). Phillip’s success with large mixed-use projects is based in the design resolution of the public realm. Phil thrives from seeing how people interact with and enjoy built spaces that embody an integrated design approach. To him, great design creates notable destinations that enhance our lives by not only serving a purpose, but cognitively connecting us to the land, culture, and our aspirations. This passion led to his recognition with the Architecture and Global Urban Design Award in 2005 for his work on Dubai Marina while with another firm. He was also one of the authors of the City of Toronto’s initial Tall Building Design Guidelines. Phillip complements the B+H senior team and contributes to the expansion of its client base in the Middle East and Canada.
